Zirzir terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Lomilab, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (“we”), for using Zirzir (ዝርዝር). By signing in you accept them. Contact: Telegram @Lomilab_dev or [email protected].

What Zirzir is

A bookkeeping app for small businesses: orders, sales, payments, expenses, stock and the day’s money, for one or more branches, with staff accounts.

• Zirzir doesn’t move money. Payments by cash, telebirr, CBE or others happen outside Zirzir; the app only records them.
• Zirzir isn’t a fiscal or tax device, and its records aren’t official tax receipts. You remain responsible for your tax, licensing and record-keeping obligations.

Accounts

• You sign in with your own Google account and keep it secure. You must be at least 18.
• An owner creates a business and decides who joins, their role and branches, and can remove them.
• Staff use Zirzir on behalf of the business they join. What they enter belongs to that business.

Your data

The records a business enters belong to that business. We use them only to provide the service, as the privacy policy describes. You’re responsible for what you enter, including any customer information (such as names or transfer reference numbers), and for having the right to enter it.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Zirzir to record illegal activity, to deceive anyone, to get at another business’s data, or to attack, overload or copy the service. We may suspend or close access that breaks these rules and, where we can, we’ll tell you why first. Suspension doesn’t delete your data.

Price

Zirzir is free. If we introduce fees for businesses later, we’ll tell owners in advance, and nothing is charged without their agreement. Any fees are arranged directly with Lomilab, outside the app.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Zirzir available and your records safe, but the service can be interrupted (for example by network or server problems). We may change, add or remove features, and we’ll tell you in advance about changes that significantly affect you.

No warranty, limited liability

Zirzir is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, Lomilab isn’t liable for indirect losses or lost profits from using or not being able to use Zirzir, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Check important figures, such as day-close totals, yourself.

Ending

You can stop using Zirzir and delete your account at any time. If we end the service, we’ll give 30 days’ notice, and owners will be able to get a copy of their records before it ends.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Disputes go to the courts of Addis Ababa, after we’ve first tried to settle them by talking.

Changes to these terms

We’ll update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in the app about important changes. Using Zirzir after a change means you accept it.
